Student Assistance Program (SAP)

SAP is a school based program designed to help students (K-12) remove barriers to their overall success. Barriers can include substance abuse, alcohol, tobacco and/or mental health issues. The SAP Core Team is made up of specially trained school personnel (teachers, counselors, administrators, social workers, nurses, and school psychologists) to confidentially assist students and their parents with identifying the issues and connecting them with school resources. In addition to school staff, SAP assessors from Holcomb Behavioral Health as well as mental health liaisons from Crozer or NHS Human Services may also be members of the SAP Core Team. Referrals can be made by calling the school guidance counselor and/or Social Worker.
